Leaving May

May has come and gone,

but not without leaving its mark.

Like a gust of wind loved ones were taken from us yet the promise of rebirth lingers.

Death births life like a last gasp of breath.

This is the reminder to move slowly,

to live in divine presence.

To prepare a space within you that welcomes experience.

To leave your heart open to receiving life’s bounty.

To close doors that no longer need to see the light but open your table to opportunity.

And for the love of all that is holy,

Honor your Authenticity.

Just get weird with it.

Hug your fucking loved ones a lot,

Give cheek kisses

and tell strangers that you love them.

Life is a gift.
